𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀
As the Emerging Conservators Committee (ECC) of the Canadian Association for Conservation of Cultural Property (CAC), one of our priorities is the privacy of our members. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that are collected and recorded by the ECC and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy only applies to the information collected from applicants for Sponsored Memberships. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than the required application form.

By filling out this application, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
For this application we require the following personal information, which may be used to contact and/or identify you. This personal identifying information includes but is not limited to:

- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Mailing address

𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, are solely for the distribution of Sponsored Memberships.
If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
We may use the collected information to:
- Communicate with applicants
- Distribute sponsored memberships
- Analyze and report on membership statistics

We do not share your personal information beyond the confines of the business of the CAC Board and its implicated committees, and we will never sell your information.

𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Your personal information will be retained according to the CAC Records Management Plan, for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Your information is processed by the ECC and CAC, in places where the parties involved are located. Your information may be transferred to - and maintained on - computers located outside of your province/state, country, or other government jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ.

Your consent to the Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

The ECC/CAC will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
