Those who are nominated can decide if they want to apply to be an officer/leader.

Nominee positions are for: President, Treasurer, Leadership Team Officers (up to 4 per semester), Small Group leader, Emcee, or Worship Leader.

Cru Officers Nomination
Officer/Leader nomination happens each semester. Officers serve for a semester-length, with the opportunity to continue in following semesters.
 
The application process includes:
- UM student enrollment: officers must be currently enrolled UM student, taking 7 or more credits

- Attendance: be an "active member" of Cru, involved for at least one school term, having attended 75% of weekly large group and/or small group meetings.

- Knowledge requirement: Officers must satisfactorily complete the Cru Chapter’s Leadership Application, which shall determine the applicant’s skill in providing spiritual leadership for the Chapter and knowledge of the Chapter’s core messages.

- Alignment requirement: Officers must commit to lead the Cru Chapter in a way which is consistent with the mission and faithful to the messages of Cru, and will not undermine Cru’s mission and message.
