We will never sell or provide your contact information to any third party. It will be used for coordinating this event only and then will be deleted. Anonymized demographic information may be retained for analysis of participants across countries for trends.
＝Application Guidelines＝- Teams are of 3 people.
- At least one team member must be over the age of 18 for chaperoning purposes.
- Participants under the age of 18 must send in a signed waiver for parental consent. We will send this to your team directly if this applies to you following your registration.
- Team members MUST hold valid passports, or be in the process of obtaining them, as the winning team is going to Japan for the SPOGOMI World Cup from November 20-23, 2023.
- Two of the three participants must hold Canadian permanent residency or nationality.
- If you wish to change the team members, please submit a new form. We will use that which is most recently submitted as your team information.
＝Other notifications regarding the day of the event＝
- Please wear clothes suitable for physical activity on the day of the event. Changing rooms will not be provided. Please bring your own rain gear in threat of rain.
- The management will provide work gloves (for 3 people), garbage bags (number of bags required), and tongs (up to 1 tong per team). No items not provided by the management may be used for trash pickup.
- If the event is canceled due to inclement weather, we will notify you by 5:00 p.m. the day before the event.
- Please note that photos and videos taken on the day of the event may be used later in web pages and publicity materials related to the event.
- There is no fee to participate in the event, but participants will be responsible for their own transportation costs to and from the venue.
- If you are feverish or covid-19 positive, please stay at home and let us know and send your alternate team member. If you have a cough or other symptoms, please consider wearing a mask to protect your teammates and other participants.
