New Space Name Poll

Dear Community,

We are grateful to everyone that took the time to fill out our 'Help us name the Space' form.  We really value everyone's input and wanted to put the top choices that we receive to a vote.  

Some Framing

From Nat, who has been involved in both Cirque Roots and Splinter since they have both been on splinter grounds.

"Cirque Roots was a wonderful organization, built and led by amazing women. Cirque Roots has been a trailblazer in Tucson in terms of circus and community spaces. At Splinter, we are trying to take that type of work even further. A central part of that mission is social justice, access, inclusivity, diversity and belonging. Our intention with the movement space is to improve it, not just in terms of equipment, climate control etc, but to make it more accessible to folks of different identities, in particular BIPOC folks, LGBTQIA+ folks and more."

We invite folks to keep this in mind while you vote on the new name. As of now, we are considering the following 'tag line(s)' with the name:  'A place to move your body, home of the Cirque Collective'.
