Rocket Cat Middle-Grade Book Club - survey of interest
The Rocket Cats are four middle-grade authors who are also critique partners! We are:

Ann Braden (The Benefits of Being an Octopus; Flight of the Puffin; Opinions and Opossums)
Jennifer Chambliss Bertman (The Book Scavenger Series; Sisterhood of Sleuths)
Tara Dairman (The All Four Stars series; The Great Hibernation; The Girl from Earth's End)
Elaine Vickers (Like Magic; Paper Chains; Half Moon Summer)

We're measuring interest in a virtual book club for middle-grade readers and writers. Each book club meeting would last around an hour and feature discussion of a book written by one of the four Rocket Cats. Participants would have a chance to ask the book's author questions, win prizes (like signed books!), learn secrets behind the book-writing and book-publishing process, and participate in fun, interactive writing activities with the Rocket Cats.

We would likely meet twice in Spring 2023, and twice in Fall 2023.

Though readers of all ages would be welcome, the club's activities would be focused on young readers and writers, and a moderator would control admission to the virtual meeting room. Preregistration would be required for meetings, and there would be no tolerance for bad language or bullying within meetings.
