cs/root Seminar

cs/root is an entrepreneurial hub led by the Virginia Tech Department of Computer Science. The multi-stakeholder initiative will create a platform for computer science-focused entrepreneurship at Virginia Tech that extends to the Roanoke and New River Valleys. cs/root will provide entrepreneurs in the computer science field the opportunity to learn about the steps for starting a company, gain experience developing their own ideas, and be inspired by the careers of the department’s alumni entrepreneurs.

This spring, the Department of Computer Science is excited to launch cs/root with a series of seminars led by Alumni Speakers who will discuss their experiences as entrepreneurs in the field of innovative technology.

Please join us on Friday, April 14, 2023, for the cs/root seminar featuring Matt Pfeil. An alumni of the VT Department of Computer Science, Matt has over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience.
