Midwife Interest Form for Grand Valley Holistic Homebirth
Grand Junction is the largest city between the Metro Utah area and the Metro Denver, Colorado area. Situated on the Colorado River, in the high dessert of the Western slope of Colorado, the population is growing and in need of midwives. Anna Gilmore, CPM, RM, opened GVHH in September of 2020, and so far we are the only home birth practice in the Grand Valley. Anna works with 4 assistants/student midwives.
 
We are well positioned for growth with and are happy to benefit from a cooperative relationship with the local birth center (which is now Hospital owned). We boast a friendly tertiary care hospital.  With only one midwife so far, we haven't even begun advertising but have started doing 2-3 births a month, which is plenty for one midwife who is also raising a large family. We've just expanded our office space and would like to be able to serve more families in the area.
