Thanks for your interest in attending The Oasis: A Medical Humanities Writing Group!

This is a peer-led initiative for students/trainees in the healthcare field — we aim to provide a supportive space for learners to gather, reflect, and engage with each other during these challenging and unprecedented times (while also harnessing their creativity!)

We will meet via Zoom for a narrative medicine-based workshop co-facilitated by Milani Sivapragasam, a resident in Internal Medicine in Ottawa, and Bismah Khalid, a Master of Occupational Therapy student in Toronto. Writing prompts will be provided during the sessions; no writing experience or preparation necessary. There is no expected commitment to attend a certain number of sessions.

The next session will take place on Thursday, October 14th from 7:30-9 PM (EST) via Zoom. Please RSVP by Sunday, October 10th at 5 PM (EST) to receive the Zoom invitation link if you plan on attending!
