Youth Leadership Initiative Recommendation Form
The YLI Program is seeking students with plenty of room to grow! Participants who gain the most from YLI are:

- Eager to learn about their community and how they can shape its future.
- Enthusiastic about building professional skills and gaining exposure to possible career paths.
- Open to exploring their leadership potential, perhaps having had few previous opportunities.
- Sincere about forming connections with fellow students and mentors from across Greater Des Moines.

This recommendation form is open year-round. When you submit a recommendation, we will reach out to the student and invite them to apply when applications are open. The program is open to students in the Greater Des Moines area entering their Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years for the following academic year.

Applications for the Class of 2025 are open until April 8th.
