In-Person/Virtual Book Discussion, ages 13-18 — Wednesday, August 4, 4-5 p.m.
Teens ages 13-18 are invited to participate in a discussion of Blazewrath Games by Amparo Ortiz.

Lana Torres has always preferred dragons to people. In a few weeks, sixteen countries will compete in the Blazewrath World Cup, a tournament where dragons and their riders fight for glory in a dangerous relay. Lana longs to represent her native Puerto Rico in their first ever World Cup appearance, and when Puerto Rico’s Runner—the only player without a dragon steed—is kicked off the team, she’s given the chance.

We will be joining the Cumberland Count Library virtually for the discussion. At 4:30 p.m., author Amparo Ortiz will join us virtually from Puerto Rico to discuss the book with you!

Teens are invited to attend the program in person at the library in the Community Event Room, or they may log-in remotely via Zoom.

Teens who register will receive a free copy of the book, while supplies last. Books are funded through a Community Development Block Grant through the City of Vineland.

The author visit is funded jointly by the Cumberland Count Library and by the Vineland Public Library through a Community Development Block Grant.
