Spring 2023 - Volunteers Needed - Resume Reviews & Mock Interviews for UMD students
There are several times throughout the spring 2023 semester when we will call on employers, UMD alumni, and campus partners to assist us in conducting resume reviews and mock interviews for UMD students.  These live engagements take place to (1) help students prepare for our upcoming Career & Internship Fair and (2) engage with 600+ students enrolled in one of our two 1-credit career courses: PSYC123: The Psychology of Getting Hired and EDCP108i: Academic Transitions to Internships (for students seeking their first internship experience).

If you would like to participate in conducting either resume reviews or mock interviews with students, please complete the form below and sign up for the day(s) and time(s) you would like to volunteer.  Please block your calendar for the day(s) and time(s) in which you register because after submitting this form, we have you registered as a volunteer for that day!  We provide training materials for both resume reviews and mock interviews.

You will see two headings below: resume reviews and mock interviews.  You are welcome to sign up for one or both options and multiple time-slots.  Please just block your calendar if you sign up for a date/time.

Both resume reviews and mock interviews will take place virtually via Zoom.

Erica Ely (Assistant Director-Career Education & Exposure, eely@umd.edu) will confirm the date and time of your volunteering at least two weeks prior to the program and provide additional details and training materials as needed.
