School Site Council Nominations

Dear Parents,

The Jefferson School Site Council (SSC) is now accepting nominations for parent members on the SSC.  This is a two year term, August 2020 - May 2022

Voting will take place electronically.  Ballots will be available on the website and Parent Square September 2 - September 4.

The School Site Council serves the students and the school by:  
developing the Single School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) with teachers and support staff;
implementing and monitoring the School Plan;
evaluating the SPSA to see if SPSA goals are met.

Parent members of the SSC are expected to:
attend the meetings once per month (via zoom during Distance Learning);
learn about the SPSA through trainings and information shared at SSC meetings;
represent parents in the neighborhood and community; and
actively participate in SSC responsibilities

If you are interested, your name will be placed on a ballot for an election.
