Below, you will have the opportunity to test out for each level. Please complete each task below only if you want to test out for that level. For example, if you want to test out of ASL 3, please complete all tasks up to that level.

To test out of ASL 1, you should have studied ASL for at minimum of 4 months at the college level or 1 year at the high school level.

To test out of ASL 2, you should have studied ASL for a minimum of 8 months at the college level or 2 years at the high school level.

To test out of ASL 3, you should have studied ASL for a minimum of 12 months at the college level or 3 years at the high school level.

To test out of ASL 4, you should have studied ASL for a minimum of 16 months at the college level or 4 years at the high school level, or you are a native signer. 
To test out of ASL 1 

Create a 2-3 minute introduction video about yourself. Provide information such as your name, where you are from, your family, your home, and any other relevant details you'd like to share. Your video will help with assessing your language proficiency.

Create a 2-3 minute video about a vacation trip you took in the past, or a trip you want to take in the future.  Your video will help with assessing your language proficiency.
