The lecture will be held by Steven Huxley on Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to all participants to the email address entered in this form. The record of all email addresses will be destroyed within a week of the event and will not be given/seen by anyone outside of the UN Youth of Finland board. The lecture will take place on Monday the 21st of September 2020 from 16.30-17.30.

The interactive lecture will work as a base for the Youth Peace Week. The idea is to give participants a clear understanding of what the term positive peace means and its relevance to our society. The lecture is aimed towards an audience that has little to no knowledge of the topic or would like to learn more about it. The aim of the lecture is not to go into too much detail about the topic, but rather give a base on which the participants can build on during the Youth Peace Week. We talk a lot about peace in our society, but the concept of positive peace may not be as familiar to everyone. Hopefully, after completing this lecture, participants will be able to better understand the discussion that will take place during the event that will be held during the Youth Peace Week.

During the lecture, Huxley will ask questions to which the participants are welcome to give their own thoughts. At the end of the lecture, there will be time to ask questions.
