The ALANA Orientation Session allows students of color to meet one another and explore valuable approaches as to how to effectively navigate this predominately white institution. (ALANA is an acronym that stands for African American, Latinx, Asian, and Native American) This session is offered as part of the overall New Griff Orientation experience. Through icebreakers and interactive conversations, students will begin to create relationships and become aware of various support systems at the college to ensure their persistence and success.
