What's this all about?
Previously it was possible to add multiple recipients to an email side conversation, but they all were sent via the To: email header. We received feedback that CC (and BCC) functionality were necessary for their workflows in order to let someone know that they were only being kept in the loop with CC or being privately notified of a single message via BCC.
Need more detail on how it works?
This EAP introduces a new CC button in the email side conversation composer that opens a new CC recipients field. That exposes a BCC button that will open a third field for BCC recipients. The recipients will receive their emails accordingly.
Is this available to everyone?
There are a few pre-requisites to be part of this Early Access Program:
- Professional or above accounts with Collaboration Add-on, or Professional or above Suite account
- Email side conversations enabled
This being an Early Access Program, are there limitations with the product?
- We are still working on displaying the explicit recipient type in messages displayed in the side conversations interface
What is expected of me?
There are a few things we ask:

1. Provide feedback on the feature, ease of use, and documentation
2. Report any bugs
3. Be open to working very closely with us, initially and ongoing through this stage
4. Willingness to get it wrong, in order to make it better
