Retreat Cost: $250 (accommodation) plus dana

Note on Dana: All teaching is offered freely and in return recipients donate to the teacher. Offering dana is an opportunity to express generosity and gratitude for those teaching to the level you can afford. The amount of dana offered is individual based on circumstances and this circles back to generosity.

Note on Accommodation: Cost covers accommodation and all meals. Accommodation is rustic and bathrooms are shared. It could be cold so please bring enough warm clothing. Meals will be vegetarian with gluten free options however if you have more specific needs you may need to consider bringing some snacks.

What to bring:
• Comfortable modest and warm clothes (it could be chilly at this time of year)
• Walking shoes (there are many walking paths on the property)
• Toiletries including insect repellent
Meditation cushions, stools, blankets and a yoga mat or equivalent for movement
• A towel, sheets and pillowslip (beds are single)

Transport:
If you need transport please let us know on the registration form. We can coordinate lifts from Newcastle. Public transport to Stroud is limited.

Affordability:
The retreat is being coordinated by “The Sit In” a Newcastle based meditation group. We take no profit, and any remaining funds will be donated to a suitable community based organisation as agreed by Sit In members.
We want the retreat to be accessible to all. If you are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford the full cost, please contact Jen on 0497075899 and a subsidy may be available.

Refunds: Please also note that the Monastery has a 12 week non cancellation policy. No refunds will be offered after this date however if another participant can be found to take your place we are happy to forward those funds. The accommodation is limited to 22.

Vaccination: Only fully vaccinated participants please.
