The meeting will give a voice to young boys who, due to the color of their skin and their descendants, are subjected to aggression and verbal insults every day, to the point of being victims of a system that does not recognize them as citizens and that discriminates in different aspects of daily life. The dynamics of discrimination will be discussed and through dialogue speakers - stereotypes that are part of everyday life will be deconstructed. The ability to question oneself will be the key element of the experience.
A higher level of attention coupled with the confrontation that arises between elements with different backgrounds are just some of the benefits that the English inclusive exposure in will bring to the activity. The slides will be in Italian and the concepts can be repeated in Italian upon request. Fading group will use easy impact word affordable for everyone.

Fading è un progetto corale che vede la collaborazione di sette ragazzə afrodiscendentə che vivono in Italia e che hanno girato degli spot per la sensibilizzazione sul razzismo sistemico in Italia. Questo incontro ha lo scopo di dar voce a tuttə coloro che, per il colore della loro pelle e per la loro discendenza, ogni giorno subiscono aggressioni e insulti verbali, fino ad essere vittime di un sistema che non li riconosce come cittadini e che li discrimina in diversi aspetti della vita quotidiana, nell'accesso ai servizi, alla vita pubblica, nel mondo del lavoro: questo sistema è basato sul razzismo sistemico. Durante questo incontro non si farà solo luce sulle dinamiche di discriminazione, ma si andranno a decostruire tutta una serie di stereotipi che, dopotutto, sono parte anche della nostra quotidianità. L’obiettivo sarà instaurare un dialogo che, in primo luogo, sappia mettere in discussione il privilegio che vivono le persone bianche nella nostra società, a partire dal mondo universitario e che, in secondo luogo, possa far raggiungere al pubblico una maggior consapevolezza su queste tematiche.
