COVID-19 Business Resiliency Program (CBRP): “Small but Mighty: Emotional Resiliency Tools for Small Business Owners Experiencing Burnout”
The COVID-19 Business Resiliency Program (CBRP) is designed to help your business recover quickly from the pandemic. With funding from the CARES Act, this program is free for a limited number of businesses.

The COVID-19 Business Resiliency Program: Emotional Resiliency is designed to offer participants an opportunity to review their current stress level and explore how stress is affecting their business and personal lives.

Program Objective
After attending the course, participants will be able to:
1. Identify five signs of emotional burnout
2. List four business practices that contribute to burnout
3. List three consequences of burnout on entrepreneurs’ small businesses
4. List five tools to build emotional resiliency and prevent burnout
Participant Criteria & Cohort Capacity
Who should take this course:  

This course is designed for small business owners with existing businesses in the San Antonio area that may be experiencing burn out and want to study to understand how their wellness effects their business health.

Criteria for Program Eligibility:

- The business must be located in one of the following counties in the San Antonio area: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, McMullen, Medina, Wilson.
- The business must have been in business for a minimum of 1 year (this program is not for pre-venture or start-ups)
- The business was impacted by COVID-19 Pandemic
- Participants must own at least 50% of the business and have decision-making authority
- Participants should have basic computer browser capabilities
- Participants should be available to attend and actively participate in workshops that they apply for
- Participants must be committed to growing their business and complete all WBC surveys to track progress and results
-  For best experience, participants should have a computer or laptop with reliable internet connection to complete live group workshops and hands-on work


Cohort capacity is limited to 50 participants. Participants will be selected by a committee based on meeting the program criteria and best fit with the cohort.

Program Date: November 9th 2021 (Tuesday)

Program Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM CST

Program Format
During the 2 hour workshop the facilitator will guide participants in recognizing the physical and psychological signs of emotional burnout and identifying components of their business practices that might be contributing to emotional stress. Participants will also learn tools to manage emotional burnout. The presentation will include experiential exercises in virtual break-out rooms, so that participants can practice the tools before they apply them in their businesses.
