You are 32 years old and married with two kids and lots of responsibilities and payables. For the last 6 years, you have been working as a mechanical assistant in a printing company with a basic salary. You are quite satisfied with the working conditions in the company, your boss and your colleagues. However, you have always been an inquiring mind, always striving for new challenges & opportunities. You never get settled, you are constantly looking for developing new skills & knowledge.  Lately, you have heard about some highly paid job positions related to coding & programming, but you have no clue what these terms mean. You have never been keen on Digital Technology. Even the simplest term sounds like Greek to you, let alone programming, which sounds even harder. You are interested and curious to find out more, but you are not sure where to start. As a first step, you decide to look for specific terms you are not familiar with on the internet, such as “coding”, “programming” and “computational thinking”.

All night long, you have been looking on the internet for some basic information, but got a bit lost and discouraged. The information online is vast and everything seems so confusing. You do not want to give up easily. So, you open up to your partner about your new learning goals and ask her advice: “Your friend Jason is a programmer, why don’t you ask for his help?” You totally forgot Jason, it’s been a long time since you met each other. He is your superhero now! You decide to invite him for a beer! Jason is really excited about your new desire and suggests some reliable online resources where you can find information and start getting familiar with the basic terms of programming and coding. This is what you needed, you are now ready to dive into the new world of tech!
