This form should be completed by new and renewing senior members. Juniors are covered by a separate process and should not complete this form. New juniors should email juniorwaitinglist@macclesfield-harriers.co.uk for further information. Renewing juniors will receive a renewal invitation by email from England Athletics.

Membership runs from 1st April to 31st March each year (this is in line with England Athletics membership year).

Membership/renewal can be made any time after 1st January and will be valid until 31st March the following year.

Membership renewal is due on 1st April and must be completed by 30th April - after this date membership may be cancelled.

Data Protection: Your personal data, as provided on this form, will be held electronically by Macclesfield Harriers and Athletic Club. The following personal data will be passed to England Athletics: name, date of birth, gender, address, email address and phone number. Your personal data will not be passed to any third party apart from EA unless further consent is obtained from you. Within the club, your personal data may be shared with Run Leaders, Team Managers and other Club Officials

It is vital that a functioning email address is provided. All communication from EA will be by Email.

Membership Fees

There are three parts to the membership fee.

1. The club membership element is £16 (this covers club running costs)

2. The combined England Athletics (EA) and Northern Athletics affiliation fee (£21 for 2024/25) is payable by all competing Senior members. We pass this directly to EA/Northern Athletics on your behalf.

3. The annual track pass is £50. There is also an option to buy 3-month passes at £25 each. To buy a 3-month pass, please select the 'no track usage' option then make a separate BACS payment to the same account. Track passes can be purchased at any time.

Thus the membership options are:

Non-Competing senior/Social £16

Competing senior £37
Competing senior + annual track pass £87
Volunteer member (£0) - only for club volunteers/coaches/officials who do not train or compete

Senior non-competing members do not pay the EA/NA affiliation part of the membership. Therefore you must enter any event organised by EA and EA affiliated clubs as an 'UNATTACHED' runner and pay the 'unattached' entry fee for the event.

Membership conditions

Unless you are a senior non-competing member, volunteer or social member it is a requirement of membership that you compete for the club in races/competitions when asked to do so.
