Thank you for applying to be a part of Their Stories! Here are the descriptions of the possible departments you will be a part of as a Their Stories board member:
Marketing:
-recruits new members
-increases partner organizations
-advertises events and projects
-expands social media reach
-grows chapter program
Journalism:
-recruits new journalists
-manages blog
-prioritizes news stories
-works with the Director of Marketing
-creates 'shorts'
-establishes further journalist programs
Research and Analysis:
-primarily focuses on policy analysis
-writes longer, more comprehensive articles on the effects of policies
-grows R&A department
-aids the Project and Event Department
-may schedule interviews/lesson sessions
Project and Event Development:
-coordinates long term events and projects
-projects/events may include campaigns, seminars, and political proposals
-grows and establishes youth to work under said project/event
-responsible for political ground work and change.
-coordinates strikes, rallies, and protests
Social Media:
-Creates infographics to educate youth on certain topic
-Maintains, designs, and updates website
-Designs lesson/conference presentation
-Weekly activist/political posts
-Works with Marketing dep. to grow organization
