Baptism, Confirmation, Reception, Reaffirmation
Please fill out this form so I have your contact information as we begin the Confirmation, Reception, and Reaffirmation classes.

Confirmation is the rite in which we express a mature commitment to Christ and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying of hands by a bishop. Typically, this is for those baptized as infants, as adults, or those not previously confirmed in another tradition.

Reception is the rite by which a bishop recognizes a person previously confirmed in another tradition as a member of The Episcopal Church. This is for those who may have been previously Roman Catholic, Lutheran, or another denomination with Bishops in Apostolic Succession.

Reaffirmation is the rite by which a person reaffirms publically the promises they made at their baptism.

Classes are held on Sundays following the 10:00 am service beginning January 8 and running until the Bishop's visit in late March.  Each class is expected to run at least an hour and will require some light work outside of class to prepare.  Excessive absences may result in your inability to be confirmed/received.
