Now + There Social Media Apprentice Application
Public art curator Now + There is currently offering a paid, part-time Social Media & Digital Engagement Apprenticeship for Summer 2019. This is a one-time, 10-month long apprenticeship, requiring a time commitment of approximately 8 to 10 hours per week from February through December. The ideal candidate will have strong copywriting skills, a creative eye, and a keen interest in everything social media. You will work closely with a dedicated Digital Strategy Manager and the organization's administrative team to help produce an active social media presence, monthly e-newsletters, a robust blogging schedule, and support digital engagement campaigns that promote our current projects.

The person brought into this position will need to be reliable, self-motivated, quick-thinking, ready to learn and possess:
** A desire to think creatively, share ideas, and take the initiative to put ideas into action
** A demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and apply learning toward professional growth
** An affinity for deadlines and advanced planning

Skills & Proficiencies: Must be fluent in English, be proficient with Google Apps, Dropbox, and Microsoft Office, and have good working knowledge of at least 4 of the following: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Pages, Mailchimp, SquareSpace, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Hootsuite.

Graphic design experience a plus.

The stipend for this position is $450 per month
Academic Credit is available.
This fellowship provides professional development in social media strategy, copywriting, content development, and marketing communications best practices.
Ideal dates of internship term are: Februray 10 through December 18, 2020
Working hours are flexible within the 8 to 10-hour time commitment. Expect 1 to 2 hours of dedicated weekly meeting time and 6 to 8 hours of remote working.
