Next Actors 2020 Audition Sign-Up!

Thanks for signing up to audition for the Next Actors!

This year, Next Act has two summer programs you can audition for.

The Next Actors: Summer Theatre for Teens (Democracy)
  Program Dates: Week days, 9:00 – 2:00, June 15 – July 10
  Tour Week Dates: Week days, 9:00 – 5:00, July 13 – July 17
  Final benefit performance: July 18, 4:30pm (rehearsal during the day)

The Next Actors: Special Skills (Shakespeare)
  Program Dates: Week days, 9:00 – 3:00, July 20 – July 31
  Final performances: Friday, July 31 at 7:00, Saturday, August 1 at 2:00 and 7:00

In the audition, you must demonstrate a willingness to be bold in your artistic identity as well as collaborate and cooperate with your peers. Bring in two contrasting pieces: monologues, forensics pieces, a song you wrote, performance poetry, musical instruments, jokes, or any theater-parallel talent. (If you are auditioning for the 2-week Special Skills: Shakespeare program, please bring a Shakespeare monologue as one of your pieces, or one will be provided for you.) The entire audition performance must be under 6 minutes long, total.
