Monday, March 2nd, school day - heats in the School Hall
Tuesday, March 3rd, school day - heats in the School Hall
Wednesday, March 5th, 4-6pm - invited finalists to perform in the School Hall

You may perform ONCE as a soloist and UNLIMITED times as an ensemble member.

The duration of your piece should not exceed 8 minutes.

Accompaniments/Backing Tracks
● If you require an accompanist, then you must organise this with the Music Department as soon as possible. Your accompanist will need a paper copy of your music and rehearsal time with you.

● If you are performing with a backing track, you must have this ready and with you (on CD, MP3 player or electronic device) for the heats. The school sound system connects via a headphone jack.

The competition is judged in 3 categories:
● Year 7, 8, 9 - Year 10 & 11 - Year 12 & 13

Number of participants:
● Ensemble: No more than 12 performers

Choirs:
● 2 choirs per house, with no more than 50 performers (Please check with your Student Leaders concerning choirs)
