Nurses and nurse educators are increasingly called upon to lead and participate in teams that design innovative solutions in both health care and education. Why? Because we understand the challenges and opportunities of leveraging innovation and technology to promote excellence in both practice and education. Providing nursing care in a highly technological, connected work environment is the future of nursing practice. Teaching with and about emerging innovative technology and brain science is the future of nursing education. This conversation invites the audience to engage in a thoughtful reflective discussion on key considerations for innovation in nursing education to best leverage the role of today’s contemporary  nurse educator.
