SAFE 2023/2024 Application 
Hello and welcome to the Elementary SAFE before and afterschool program application.

PLEASE READ THE BELOW MESSAGE CAREFULLY TO UNDERSTAND THIS YEAR'S PROGRAM.

THIS APPLICATION IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMMISION

Please note:  this year's program is only for a total of 100 days.  It does not run for the entire school year.   
Program Start Date:  August 30, 2023.  (three weeks after the start of the school year)  
Program End Date:  March 28, 2024  (there will be no SAFE in April or May of 2024)

Note: There will be no SAFE the week of Thanksgiving, Nov.20-23, 2023

Program will run Monday thru Thursday.

Drop off time in a.m. is 7:45-8:15
Pick up times during p.m. session are 4:30 or 5:15

If you are interested in your child participating in the SAFE before and after school program please complete the following application.  This is just an application and you will be notified by email if your child has been admitted to the program.  Students will be selected to participate based on an established criteria.   Students must attend a minimum of 2 times per week to remain in the program.  Students who miss more than this may be removed from the program.  Students who are not selected to be in the program will automatically be placed on the waiting list for if/when openings become available.  If selected, students are expected to attend for the entire time.   Students will be expected to remain at SAFE until the designated pick up times.  You will be notified if your child has been accepted or placed on the waiting list by August 4, 2023 via the email address you provided.   For information regarding the SAFE Program please contact Linda Kunzi at safedirector@nyeschools.org or phone (775) 727-9970  ext. 255
