WELCOME TO THE NEW RICHMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND PROGRAM!

Band Camp will run August 5th - 9th @ New Richmond Middle School from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.

The New Richmond School District’s Band Program begins the summer before 6th Grade. Students do NOT need to have any prior experience with an instrument to join band this summer!

All incoming sixth grade band students are to participate in beginning band camp before the start of the new school year! This does not cost anything to attend. We very STRONGLY recommend students attend this camp. Band instruments will also be distributed on August 5th (If your child does not attend, they will receive their instrument on the first day of school).

This camp will give students the chance to learn the fundamentals and basics of their new instrument, make new friends, and get a jump start on their skills! Time will be divided up between classes with just their same instrument and classes with the full band including all the instruments.
