About the Wild Walks:
Wild Walks – ‘adventures for children to take their adults on’ – are short walks of about 2-3km, perfect for 3-7 year olds, exploring hidden green spaces and encouraging play, exploration, noticing nature and making friends. They will take place every other Sunday from September to December in North Hackney.
There will be a Wild Walk starting at 11am and a second walk, following the same route, starting at 2pm. We can only take a limited number of families on each walk, so please only choose one walk on each day. We will share the walk routes on our website and social media so you can do it yourself and with friends.
If your plans change, and you can’t come on a walk, or if you would like to come on a different walk, you need to let us know so we can make sure another family can join us.
We recommend you bring some water and snacks. Also don't forget to check the weather forecast and bring the right clothing for the weather (sun hats or waterproofs). We can provide families with waterproof shoes and clothing, if you do not own any.
Please note, we will be strictly following the latest Covid-19 guidelines, but as an educational/physical exercise activity we can welcome up to 15 people (including children). If there are any changes to the rules, we’ll let you know in advance of the walk. Parents and carers are responsible for their children at all times during our Wild Walks.
Beth, our Wild Walk Leader, will get in touch with you once you have signed up to have a chat and give you more information. If you have any questions about this form email
