CMLE Virtual Reality Kit Application
Before working through this application, we hope you will think about the work you would like to do with these VR kits. We can only loan them to schools for three to four weeks at a time and want you to get the most value possible. While you do not need a complete plan in place to request them, we would recommend you have some ideas so that you are ready to start as soon as they are delivered.

We also are strongly requesting you attend a training before receiving them.  Please keep an eye on our website for registration.

Please spend some time looking through this information from our vendor:

A white paper with some overview ideas on using VR in a classroom: http://www.classvr.com/#school-virtual-reality-training

Information to start thinking about classroom management using these devices: http://www.classvr.com/classroom-virtual-reality-lessons

A link to their support page to help you plan: https://support.classvr.com/portal/home

As the program develops we will continue to add information to our website: https://cmle.org/cmles-vr-ar-device-member-loan-program/

There is some technology work required for setup, including connecting to the network with the SSID and password. Are you the person who is responsible for the school's wifi or have you talked with that person about reserving these kits? (We do require that you talk with them before reserving the kits, there are technology instructions that will be sent out before delivery.) *
You must give this linked document to your IT people before your kits arrive so they can make the appropriate preparations: https://support.classvr.com/portal/kb/articles/user-guide.  Show them page 27: Technical Guidelines. Have you done this? *
After receiving the kits, we will require you to submit a write-up about them (including pictures is very helpful, but not required). We want to find out what worked, what didn't, and if you have any suggestions for future users. These reports will be shared on our website, so the community can get ideas. As always, perfection is not required, we just are hoping to gain information so that everyone can learn more skills. Do you agree to write this report? *
