We are looking for advisors who have experience in working with, mentoring or advising young people to support teens in our Teen Fashion Club. You do not need to have experience in fashion or fashion design but you DO need experience with young people.

Here is some more information about your role: In addition to our group programming, each youth participant will work with an advisor who will support them through their creative process along the way. We are looking for 6 adults over the age of 21 who we will train and support to be these advisors. If you commit to being an advisor, you would be responsible for supporting 2 youth participants. Each participant would meet with you 4 times. This + coordinating would add up to a total of about 20 hours between July through September.

We are offering a stipend of $800

This position will involve a group training/community building meeting where you will connect with Make-It Staff and build community with the other advisors. This will be coordinated based on your availability.

This position will also involve as you coordinating 4 individual meetings with each of the two teens you support (this will including coordinating with other mentors that may need to attend at least one of these meetings.)
