Thank you all so much for expressing interest in our volunteer effort. To help organize the chaos a bit, we are sending out a form to collect all the emails and identify your interests. In our first meeting, it was expressed that members would like to stay in touch and organize into sub groups.

As reps of our Ottawa volunteer group, we are coordinating with all local organizations (UCC Ottawa, UNF Ottawa, and others), to ensure that we are all working collectively towards the same goal.

Please read carefully the RENEWED directions based on our discussion + needs of Ukrainian organizations in our community:

1) Rally support: helping organizers (making posters, distributing flyers, photo and film, promotion)

2) Communications, info-sharing, media: responding to media requests about Ukraine, media scan and   analysis, translation to Eng or French, social media, promoting fundraising effort.

3) Support with humanitarian/military relief logistics: researching procurement, transport, distribution options; engagement with volunteers in Ukraine and neighbouring states.

4) Immigration: info support to Ukrainians on immigration programs, support to newcomers.
