Hi, Head to Speech Ambassadors! We want to thank all of our returning Ambassadors who have been with us since we first launched in 2021! We would also like to welcome all of our new Ambassadors who are just joining us! Many of our ambassadors are speech-language pathologists and audiologists and others are from other health, wellness, sports or fitness professions. We have ambassadors who are current or former athletes, as well as their support systems who are coaches, parents, or academic and vocational supports! 

We had a successful 2nd Annual Head to Speech Summit in March. We raised over $1,000 in sponsorships and ticket sales to award speaker honorariums and student scholarships. 4 universities were represented and National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association Chapters participated in our PSA Challenge! We partnered with our first athletic partner and provided free Brain Workouts to athletes. Graduate students were able to obtain simulation hours and hands-on experiences with athletes. 

Since founding we have raised over $16,000 to get us to where we are today! We have awarded one $1,000 seed grant to a Certified Brain Injury Specialist to continue to move our purpose, vision and mission forward. We have provided education, support, Brain Workouts, and brain health and concussion recovery care packages to football and basketball players! We have grown our social media following to over 1,200 across platforms. To date, we have over 50 Ambassadors who have signed up! We have over 100 Interprofessional Task Force members inside our group! We have been an ASHA Convention Exhibitor and featured in the ASHA Leader! Continue to grow with us!!! We are just getting started!! 

We have been working hard on providing our Ambassadors with the best experiences! We are excited to share that we are now an approved continuing education provider with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association!!! We wanted to make sure that our Ambassadors received ASHA CEUs and professional development hours (PDHs) for our annual summit and other Head to Speech Academy trainings. 

We are excited to invite you to our 2023-2024 Events! Let’s start networking and making lasting relationships while we raise awareness and donations for athletes and their support systems impacted by post-concussion speech, language, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive-communication difficulties.
