It's Family Picnic time! Our picnic will be held Friday, May 19th from 11:30-12:30! All families need to complete this form, even if you DO NOT plan to attend. This will allow us to make sure that each child is supported during this time, as well as ensure that all students have a lunch on picnic day.

GENERAL FAMILY PICNIC INFORMATION:

Teachers will begin bringing students to the soccer field to meet you at 11:35. Kindergarten and 1st grade students will be outside at 11:35. Second and third grade students will be outside at 11:38. Fourth and fifth grade students will be outside at 11:41. Students will line up with their teachers at the end of the soccer field by the cones. Please come to your child's line to pick them up for lunch. Students will not be allowed to wander the field to find their families. It is strongly recommended for families to arrive at the field before 11:35 to ensure you have a picnic space ready for when your students come out to join you.

At 12:30, teachers will line up again at their cones at the end of the soccer field. Please remember your camp chairs or picnic blankets as we will be enjoying the picnic in the grass!

LUNCHES:

Lunches will be available for purchase from the school kitchen or you can bring your own. School lunches must be ordered in advance and will not be available the day of the picnic. School meals must be requested by Friday, May 5, 2023. You may request meals for your family below. Please note- if you request meals from the school district, your child's lunch account will be charged for the number of meals ordered.

If you choose to bring a meal from local restaurant, please plan ahead and allow for plenty of time. The local restaurants tend to get swamped on this day and it has caused delays in previous years.

STUDENT PICNIC EXPECTATIONS :

1) Students should remain with their families (or in that general vicinity) for the duration of the event. Please do not allow your children to wander/run around the field.

2) Playgrounds are off limits.

3) Families should not enter the school building. (Should you need access to the school building, please find a staff member for assistance.)

4) Patrons need to be responsible for their eating area and place their trash in the proper receptacles.
