Embrace Nature, Embrace Self: A Somatic Nature Group Experience in Bend, Oregon

Join Wild Heart Therapy + Consulting for a refreshing and invigorating Somatic Nature Group Series, happening once a month this spring in the picturesque parks of Bend, Oregon. This group is designed to deepen your connection with the natural world and with your own body. This journey intertwines the serenity of nature with the exploration of our inner selves through somatic practices. Series is facilitated by Savanna DeLuca, LPC. Please note that while this group is guided by a professional, it is not a therapy group.

April 5 - Sensory Meander at Riverbend Park: Dive into a guided exploration along the riverbanks of the Deschutes River, engaging all five senses to foster a deeper relationship with the natural environment. Embrace the beauty of spring and explore your relationship with the outdoors in a new light. This morning is about opening up, slowing down, and setting the stage for self-discovery.

*Meeting point - Otter near the river entrance*

May 3 - Mindful Hiking at Shevlin Park: Continue your journey with a two-mile nature hike through the tranquil trails of Shevlin Park. This morning emphasizes mindful walking and somatic awareness, allowing you to tune into your body's sensations and experience the grounding effect of each step as you connect with the earth beneath you and the space around you.

*Meeting point - Aspen Pavilion*

June 7 - Gentle Movement and Play at Juniper Park: Conclude the series with a day of gentle movement and nature games at Juniper Park. This session offers a blend of rest and playful activities, fostering a sense of joy and relaxation. It's an ideal setting to let go, have fun, and embrace the playful side of nature that carries us into summer.
