Hello! We're so excited that you're interested in performing at the Battle of the Bands presented by The Russell J. Efros Foundation on Thursday night, October 3rd at the Market Hotel in Brooklyn, NY.

Here's the deal - we will select 10 bands to play 2 songs each.  There will be a panel of judges that will review these applications and select which bands will play at the event.  The panel is made up of musicians or music industry professionals, including band members of No Vacation and Surf Rock is Dead.

Each band's performance will be judged by the panel the night of the event. The top 3 finalists will take their talents to the Second Annual Russell J. Sprouts Celebration of Life Event on November 16, 2019 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg to perform in front of hundreds of people and battle it out for the prize.

Here are the finalist prizes:
The first place winner will receive a complementary full day of recording at Diamond City Studio (https://www.instagram.com/DiamondCityStudio/) and a $1,000 cash prize.  
The second place winner will win a complementary half day of recording at Diamond City Studio and a $500 cash prize.
The third place winner will win a $250 cash prize.  

In order to apply, please fill out the form below no later August 19, 2019 at 11:59pm EST.  Contestants will be selected on August 26th, 2019 and announced on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/therusselljefrosfoundation/.  We will also notify the 10 selected bands by e-mail, which will include more information about the event.
