Ways of Working Chat #6 (Mon 29 Nov 2021) Registration
This project is supported by the International Teaching Artist Collaborative (ITAC) as part of the ITAC Partnership Project 2020. Through this project, Teaching Artist Asia, led by Jeffrey Tan, hopes to explore and document inclusive arts practice efforts across Asia. It is also hoped that the project will help to connect Asia-based teaching artists and arts groups working in this sector.

The project consist of a series of 6 monthly informal chats, aptly named, "Ways of Working Chat Series". The chats will be held on every last monday of each month, starting in May 2021. We would like to welcome Teaching Artists, Educators, Arts Organisations, Government Agencies and any Arts/Cultural workers working with disabled communities in Asia to join us.

We started the chat series looking at the Different Understandings of Inclusive Arts Practice in Chat 1,  The Politics of Identities in Chat 2 and The Needs and Gaps of Inclusive Arts Practice from the perspectives of the disabled community as organisers, participants and visitors in Chat 3.  For Chat 4, we looked at Dignity of Risks, navigating the creativity complexities of support structures.  A dialogue between Alecia Neo, Unseen Art Project, Kari Seeley, No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability and you. For Chat 5, we looked at Measuring Impact of Inclusive Arts Practice.  How should we document and articulate impact?  And for what purpose?
