Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to the Westbriar Instrumental Music program.  We are excited to share information about how to sign your child up for strings or band.   Your child recently attended a  demonstration to learn about the instruments in these two  programs. If your child is interested in joining strings or band, please read the applicable information below, and then proceed to register by selecting "Ready to Sign Up."

 We expect to start instrumental music classes on Tuesday, September 10th.

Students can choose strings or band, but not both.  All string and band students will also be able to participate in chorus. You will receive separate information about the chorus program from our general music teachers.

Instruments:
Strings: Grades 4-6 Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass

Band: Grades 5-6 Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba (we have these at school for rental),  and Percussion (percussion students need to rent a bell kit, which includes a set of bells, a practice pad/and possibly a snare drum.
