Guidelines for host state applications: Please read the following and indicate your understanding by checking the final box.
*
1.) Applications only accepted through State Association Affiliation.
2.) Host state association must provide suggestions for event locations (educational session and board meeting) and be willing to work with ASA staff. The events location should be able to accommodate 300 people.
3.) Preference will be given to event locations tied to a university and/or industry location for the educational session.
4.) Event should span at least 3 1/2 days between August 20 and September 10
6.) The committee and board meetings are under the direction of the ASA Board Chairman and the EVP.
7.) The topics, speakers, and schedule of the educational day are ultimately at the discretion of the EVP of the American Simmental Association.
