Our mission is to educate the youth of our beach community to be advocates for ocean safety and leaders in keeping our beaches safe. Junior lifeguards will become familiar with the hazards of the ocean as we visit various beach formations on our diverse Pacific Coast. As ambassadors of our community, junior guards will learn about ocean behavior, lifesaving techniques, emergency procedures, and first aid. The importance of teamwork will be reinforced during lifesaving instruction and competition opportunities. This program is intended to unite our community in order to keep our beaches safe and enjoyable for all beachgoers.

Nuestra misión es educar a los jóvenes de nuestra comunidad de playa, para ser defensores de la seguridad del océano y líderes en mantener nuestras playas seguras.  Guardavidas Junior se familiarizaran con los peligros del mar, mientras que visitan las distintas formaciones de playa en nuestra diversa Costa del Pacífico. Como embajadores de nuestra comunidad, Guardavidas Junior aprenderán sobre el comportamiento del océano, técnicas de salvamento, procedimientos de emergencia y primeros auxilios.  La importancia del trabajo en equipo se reforzará durante  instrucción de salvamento y oportunidades de competencia.  Este programa está destinado a unir a nuestra comunidad con el fin de mantener nuestras playas seguro y agradable para todos los bañistas.


DATES:
Camp1: Dec. 12-15 (on the beach in front of Capitan Suizo)
Camp2: Dec. 19-22 (on the beach in front of Capitan Suizo)

LOCATION: Playa Tamarindo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica

TIME: 9:00 am to 2:30 pm

AGES GROUPS:
Mini Lifeguards, from 5 to 10 years old.
Junior Lifeguards, from 11 to 15 years old. 

INSCRIPTION FEE: 
1 week: $250 + txs.

SECOND WEEK DISCOUNT: 
Get $30 OFF when signing up for 2 weeks! 

FAMILY DISCOUNT: 
Get $20 OFF for siblings :)
