I. General information1. This form should be completed by schools intending to offer ApL courses in Mode 2 (Partnership Mode) for Secondary 5 students in AY2024/25. Your request on offering VTC Mode 2 (Partnership Mode) ApL classes are
NOT automatically accepted by completing this form. The ApL Section, VTC will communicate with schools on the feasibility of offering the ApL courses in due course.
2. Schools intending to offer ApL courses for Secondary 4 students should complete a
different form (for new intakes only).

II. IMPORTANT points to note on offering VTC Mode 2 (Partnership Mode) ApL Classes1. Each 3-hr/4-hr session will be conducted once a week on a fixed day/according to an agreed teaching schedule
* For particular courses, priority will be given to schools that can open as many available time slots as possible for scheduling a 3-hr/4-hr session
2. Class venues can be flexibly arranged in either the premises of VTC, or students’ own schools, subject to the availability of facilities and equipment
*For particular courses, priority will be given to schools that are willing to attend classes on the premises of VTC
3. The designated no. of student per class is
17 (except for Western Cuisine, Hotel Operations, Vocational English and Food Technology and Nutrition, which is

* If the no. of admitted students is less than the minimum no. of students, the course fee of a particular class will still be calculated according to the designated no.
4. Tentative course duration for S5 (2026 HKDSE): Sept 2024 to Dec 2025
* Some lessons will have to be conducted during school holidays
5. Interested students will have to attend an interview between April and June
6. An agreement with all the implementation details will have to be signed/confirmed via email by both parties (the partnership school and the VTC) before course commencement by August 2024
