MermaidsUK have partnered with the STA and have helped develop a one day course, which qualifies Level 2 Swimming Teachers as qualified Level 2 Mermaid and Mono Fin Instructors. The Level 2 qualification allows Instructors to provide Mermaid Experiences, Mermaid Parties and weekly Mermaid Classes to their customers. The theory will cover topics such as Health and Safety, Benefits, Types of Mono Fins and Mermaid movements. The assessment process includes a practical assessment, lesson plans, evaluation, risk assessment and a small multiple choice exam paper. At the end of the course, your certificate will be emailed to you by the STA. The course can be completed face to face or via blended learning.
