Nanosafety at workplace

Firstly, we would like to extend my sincerest gratitude for your participation in our survey. This study is being jointly conducted by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and the University of Minho. Your valuable input significantly contributes to the advancements in our research, and we deeply appreciate your time and efforts in this endeavor.
This survey instrument has been meticulously developed to evaluate the extent of nanosafety knowledge integration within your organization. It is founded on the principles stipulated in the "Guidance on the Protection of the Health and Safety of Workers from the Potential Risks Related to Nanomaterials at Work" document issued by the European Commission in 2015. Given that the concept of nanosafety is relatively nascent, its successful integration into operational processes can be expected to be gradual, thereby underscoring the need for periodic assessments of progress.
This present investigation entailed the formulation of an in-depth questionnaire composed of 49 items, which is intended for administration to organizations engaged in activities involving nanotechnologies and nanomaterials. Please note that each participating entity, whether a company, laboratory, or other organization, is restricted to one response, ideally submitted by an individual possessing comprehensive knowledge of the organization's Health & Safety practices.
It is crucial to emphasize that this questionnaire is intended to be completed by occupational health and safety personnel within the organization, rather than by workers. By focusing on this specific demographic, the study seeks to glean insights into the organization's nanosafety knowledge and its operational implementation. The results derived from this study will inform and shape the future development of nanosafety policies and practices.
Please be informed that your responses will be meticulously collected and subjected to rigorous analysis, a process that may span several months. Please be advised that upon the conclusion of our analysis, your individual responses will be permanently deleted to ensure your privacy and confidentiality. It is crucial to underline that this survey does not entail any 'right' or 'wrong' answers. The sole focus of this questionnaire is to ascertain the current status of nanosafety within your organization. You can rest assured that the utmost discretion will be employed in the analysis of your responses. Your individual answers will not be disclosed to any other persons, organizations, or entities. Only the synthesized results derived from the comprehensive analysis of all participants' responses will be exhibited, and no names or identifying features will be revealed.
The questionnaire is organized into several sections, each designed to be as straightforward as possible to ensure a smooth experience for you. We have made every effort to ensure that the completion of this survey will not impose a significant time burden.
Your participation greatly contributes to enhancing our understanding of nanosafety practices, and we sincerely thank you for your valuable input.
Should you have any queries or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are more than willing to assist you.
