Consistency Is Key
Many of us have specific goals that keep us coming to the gym. Wanting to set a new PR (personal record), lose weight, get faster or stronger. Whatever your goal may be, I would like to challenge you to set a Consistency goal. Here are five good reasons to join our Consistency Challenge.

1. A consistent workout regimen reduces stress and increases your mental wellbeing. When you work out regularly, your body releases endorphins that enhance your mood.

2. Consistency will decrease your chance of injury. Sporadic strenuous exercise puts the body at greater risk of injury. A gradual increase in intensity will allow your muscles, tendons and ligaments a chance to adjust to the strains and challenges of a fitness regimen.

3. Endurance fades when you skip exercising for too many days in a row.

4.  Perhaps most importantly, motivation also fades when you skip your workouts. Each day you decide not come to the gym, it makes it that much easier to skip the following day and stop coming all together.

5. Best of all, by setting a Consistency Goal, you can win PRIZES!

RULES:

- Register for virtual classes on our website/Mindbody or attend the outdoor fitness center and group classes in person.
- Prizes are awarded to those with the most consistent attendance. (Most check ins from January 4th through February 15th.)
- Only one in-person check in or virtual reservation will count per day.
