Sometimes our kids can have big emotions that feel overwhelming and out of control, both for them and for us! Whether these emotional challenges are the result of normal ups and downs in childhood development, or other concerns, there is gospel hope for parents who are seeking to train and nurture our children towards maturity. This seminar will focus on emotional regulation skills from within a Biblical worldview. We will consider what Scripture has to teach us about the purpose and nature of emotions, and suggest some practical skills and tools for parenting. Emotions are a gift from God and can move us towards holiness when we learn how to engage them well, so come sharpen your thinking and skills.
