Toronto SFF Writers - Novel & Novella Feedback Meetings
This form is for anyone with a completed novel (or novella) who is interested in participating in novel feedback meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to allow people with longer, completed works to get the sort of big-picture, holistic, structural feedback that requires looking at a work in its entirety.

The length doesn't matter, as long as it is a larger piece for which you would like big-picture, holistic feedback; it could be as short as 10,000 words, or as long as 120,000 words. We are not exchanging on a work-by-work or individual-to-individual basis, but will balance out everyone's contribution to reviews based on the number of words in works that they have chosen to read (by participating in other meetings).

Each meeting will be dedicated to discussion of a single novel (or novella, or other completed larger work), and meetings will be 60 to 90 minutes long. Participants will read the novel for that meeting in advance (copies should be distributed to participants with enough time to read the novel in its entirety).

Everyone who has a feedback meeting dedicated to their book will be expected to read an equivalent (or greater) number of words from other people's books (by signing up to other meetings, for whatever books interest them).

If you have any questions, concerns, special considerations, etc, please make sure to let me know either by email or in the comment section provided in this form.

Name of novel *
Your name or pen-name *
Word length of completed work (number) *
Do you have preferred times and/or dates for when you would like to have the meeting?
Do you have a max number of readers that you would like to join the feedback meeting for your novel? (Keeping in mind that you are expected to review other novels based on the number of people who review yours; also keep in mind that sometimes people may have to drop out of the meeting at the last minute).
About the Book / Description of Material (you can provide a log-line, genre, themes, the sort of description that would be on the back, etc--it's really up to you. The idea is to provide a description that will be used for the Meetup page to hopefully interest people in signing up to read the novel) *
Will you be able to distribute the novel to people who sign up for the meeting (e.g. by email)? *
Are you committed to participating in meetings for other people's novels (any that you choose to sign up for) so that you're reading an equivalent (or greater) number of words as the length of your novel, for each person who reviews your novel? *
Do you have any questions, concerns, notes, special considerations, etc?
