Call for Speakers, Artists, and Tablers for the International 2020 Zero Waste Youth Convergence
Zero Waste Youth USA is seeking speakers, artists, and tablers for the 2020 Zero Waste Youth Convergence, to share their experiences and stories to empower youth in the Zero Waste movement. We are looking for speakers, artists, and tablers of all ages and experience levels.

For the past 7 years, Zero Waste Youth USA has brought together Bay Area students and young professionals to discuss Zero Waste issues. Focusing on source reduction, recycling, composting, creative reuse, environmental justice, and other themes, the convergences aim to energize and mobilize a new generation of change-makers! This year, we are following the lead of our counterparts of Zero Waste Youth Brazil and are aiming to make this an international convergence.

Our theme for 2020 is All Hands On Deck. This theme is an opportunity to uplift the intersectional youth climate movements happening all over the world, and to hold fossil fuel industries accountable for both global plastic pollution and climate change.  We are particularly welcoming speakers who are able to tie their topic back to this theme!

We are in the process of planning another exciting and insightful event and we would love to have you involved at our next convergence!

The 8th annual Zero Waste Youth Convergence will be held on Saturday, March 14th, 2020.

--Day & Time speakers are needed: Saturday, March 14th  9:00 AM- 4:00 PM
--Location: San Francisco Bay Area, Exact Venue TBD
--Session Duration: Breakout sessions/interactive workshops are 50 minutes with flexibility for time for presentation/ demonstration and time for questions from the audience.
--Lunchtime tabling: 1 hour long mid-day
