Be a Cultural Ambassador!
The Cultural Ambassadors program provides international students with an opportunity to educate UNC Charlotte students, faculty and staff about their culture and experience as international students in the US. Typical presentations are in a panel discussion format and may take place in a classroom or at a staff meeting.

To see pictures from past panels to get a sense of what ambassadors do, click here, here, and here. Typical audiences range in size from a small group of 4-5 people, to lectures with up to 100 students.

Please complete the sections below and choose the date(s) & time(s) you are available to volunteer to be a Cultural Ambassador panelist.

I would like to volunteer for the following Cultural Ambassador International Student Panels: *
Please pick as many of the time slots below that fit your schedule and we will pick the slot that best meets our needs for creating a diverse international student panel.  Unfortunately, due to the volume of applicants, we may not be able place all students on a panel. Do not sign up for a panel if you already know it conflicts with your academic or personal schedule for Fall 2025. Students who sign up for and are then ultimately assigned a panel but who back out ("No Show") less than 48 hours before the panel start time may: be ineligible to apply for future semesters for Cultural Ambassadors and any other ISSO programs requiring a commitment (FACE, orientation volunteer etc.)
