I am a Stage 3 BA Architecture student at Newcastle University, working with Dr Carlos Calderon on ‘Net Zero Futures’. I am looking at how physical architecture affects food production and how we can make  growing our own produce more sustainable.

The information/data will be used in my dissertation. I am focusing particularly on the North East of England, looking at urban farming, growing food in small spaces and the relationship between urban food production and the physical architecture.

I appreciate that not all the questions may apply to you but any information you can provide will help me better understand how you use your plot and buildings to grow food.
